TOKYO EXCURSION 2 - 6 APRIL 2020
2nd - 6th April 2020
Source your monochromatic hearts out with Megan Morton at Toyko’s legendary Oedo Antique Market (weather dependant) and flea markets, visit the studio of one of the world’s most beautiful linen brands, hunt the legendary kitchen market and take deep breaths in our favourite stationery and paper stores. We will tackle this generous town in four days and fill our days mostly in the Ginza/Shibuya area with the famous antique markets, Kitchen Street, pen and paper stores, designers ateliers and retire each night to our glorious hotel.
It’s a dream excursion in Tokyo offered to six women only as we realise how rare it will be for you to be able to be in Tokyo at the same time.
Our Tokyo time will have daily classes or workshops, an art class at the epic pigment and custom watercolour workshop and visit the fog linen atelier! Plus sourcing on Kitchen Street with a translator, the famed antique markets (weather dependant) and our Lost in Translation Park Hyatt moment!
Tokyo is an amazing city. We are doing this concentrated trip because we know how hard it is to really get it right. As it's easy to get onto the tourist dartboard, but very hard to hit the real bullseye when it comes to Tokyo. This trip has translators, transport and all the tricky Tokyo bits taken out so you can slide on in and have the best of times.
