STITCHING CLASS - SYDNEY 16 JULY 2021
QUILTS! QUILTS! QUILTS!
We feel its time to honour and celebrate the longest art form we know. Megan Morton met Fiona Wright, the incredible craft-entrepreneur in her The Stitching Project headquarters in glorious Pushkar where she puts the women in her community to glorious work. Every quilt has been stitched by thousands of stitchs, many hands made from naturally dyed fabrics. This is a class all about womanhood, resilience and the most practical domestic applied art of all. We will make a purse together along with some of Fiona’s ladies in her Pushkar studio in a glorious class that will have you smiling for weeks after !
